Lakeside Living
Our community revolves around Langford Lake. It’s a popular spot for swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Visit the beach at Scout Point with the Lakepoint Park swimming dock and enjoy the accessible playground. Wander the 4.5-kilometre Ed Nixon Trail that runs along the shore and connects with the rest of the trail network for even more outdoor adventure.

Recreation
Westhills Playground
Offering plenty of room to climb, swing, slide and play, the Westhills Playground is a children’s paradise. A favourite gathering spot for families, it’s the perfect place to meet up with old friends or make new ones.
Atlas Drive Park & Playground
Located off Atlas Drive, this new park provides an opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy the outdoors. It features thoughtful and inclusive play structures for diverse and dynamic play that’s suitable for children of all ages.
Jordie Lunn Bike Park
A major cycling venue that hosts local and international mountain biking competitions and races, the Jordie Lunn Bike Park caters to cyclists of all ages and abilities. Providing a year-round public space for recreation and high-performance training, it features dirt jumps, a pump track, a skills area, an extensive cyclocross and mountain biking trails.
The Clubhouse
Located in the Jordie Lunn Bike Park, the Clubhouse is a hub for mountain bike enthusiasts, housing organizations like Cycling Canada and Cycling BC as well as Rhino Coffee and Broad Street Cycles.
Goudy Field
This premium turf field hosts soccer, rugby, football, baseball and lacrosse games, with semi-stadium seating, a field house and public facilities. It’s also home to the City Centre Park Slo-Pitch League.

Goldstream Park
This spectacular provincial park is famous for its annual salmon run, popular campsites and extensive hiking trails. Towering trees, soaring eagles, a stunning waterfall and a host of wildlife make this a must-visit destination.
Mt. Wells Regional Park
This remarkable regional park offers 297 acres of wilderness to explore, featuring a breath-taking summit hike to challenge avid hikers.
Galloping Goose Trail
This picturesque multi-use trail runs through urban, rural and wilderness scenery on its 55-kilometre journey from Victoria to Sooke. Cycle, stroll, run or even ride a horse through the rural sections of this former rail line.
Trans-Canada Trail
Run, walk, cycle or commute in the fresh air on the iconic Trans-Canada trail, which winds through Westhills before reaching its terminus at Victoria’s Clover Point.
Paradise Ponds
Home to many of Vancouver Island’s native plants, birds and wildlife, Paradise Ponds is a unique natural habitat surrounded by forested trails. Wander along the water’s edge, or simply sit and observe this stunning wetland ecosystem.
Langford Gravity Zone & Nature Trails
This trail system covers 130 acres of land, donated by Westhills, with extensive hiking and mountain biking trails for all skill levels. Visitors can enjoy several mountain and ocean viewpoints along the trail, while cyclists can practice their skills on jumps, obstacles, easy switchbacks or double black diamond trails.
Parkdale Hill
Parkdale Hill offers 35 acres of vibrant forest with meandering trails through a well-preserved Garry Oak ecosystem as well as a disc golf course. Those who hike to the top are rewarded with panoramic views of downtown Victoria, the Olympic Mountains and mainland BC.
Central Wetlands
Located in the heart of Westhills, the Central Wetlands is a unique ecosystem that’s home to many native plant species, birds and other wildlife. Wander the surrounding trail, or take a seat on a bench and enjoy the rhythms of nature.
Ed Nixon Trail
Circling Langford Lake, the 4.5-km in-and-out Ed Nixon trail takes you to a floating viewing platform, an accessible children’s playground, public washrooms and Scout Point, a swimming beach.
