The new park located off Atlas Dr and situated right within our growing community, provides an opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy the outdoors. This park features thoughtful and inclusive play structures for a more diverse and dynamic play that’s suitable for children of all ages.
With plenty of room to climb, swing, slide and play the Westhills Playground is a children’s paradise. A favourite gathering spot for families, it’s the perfect place to meet up with old friends or make new ones.
This picturesque multi-use trail runs through urban, rural and wilderness scenery on its 55-kilometre journey from Victoria to Sooke. Cycle, stroll, run, or even ride a horse through the rural sections of this former rail line. Whether you’re commuting to work, meandering on a weekend afternoon or pacing yourself from Sidney to Sooke, the trail is yours to enjoy.
Run, walk, cycle or commute in the fresh air on the iconic Trans-Canada trail, which winds through Westhills before reaching its terminus at Victoria’s Clover Point. This one-of-a-kind trail runs across Canada from coast to coast, making it the longest network of multi-use recreational trails in the world.
A popular location for swimming, boating, kayaking and paddle boarding, Langford Lake is the place to be in the summertime and all year round. Fishing is excellent along the shoreline with numerous boardwalks and access points, and a boat launch on the western shore offers boaters a chance to catch a trout. Visit the swimming beach at Scout Point, enjoy the accessible playground, or wander the 4.5-kilometre Ed Nixon Trail that runs along the shore.

The Jordie Lunn Memorial Bike Park is a one-of-a-kind recreational cycling area, complete with dirt jumps, a pump track, a skills area, and extensive cyclocross and mountain biking trails.
Providing a year-round public space for recreation and high-performance training, it caters to cyclists of all ages and abilities. Free to the public, the park will offer programs for schools, sports teams and clubs, and is positioned to become a major cycling event venue hosting mountain bike competitions and races.

This spectacular trail system covers 130 acres of land with extensive hiking and mountain biking trails for all skill levels. Visitors can enjoy several mountain and ocean viewpoints along the trail, while cyclists can practice their skills on jumps, obstacles, easy switchbacks or double black diamond trails.
