Westhills was thrilled to announce the achievement of a remarkable milestone as we approached the completion of our 1,000th Home. Marking this significant milestone, Mayor Goodsmanson attended our Ribbon Cutting ceremony, speaking of the underlining importance of community progress. The speeches from local residents, the Mayor, and Westhills management echoed the collective effort behind our community’s growth, with each home showcasing our commitment to a better future.
In conjunction with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, we hosted a block party that was a huge success, attracting over 800 residents and neighbours. The celebration featured a variety of entertainment, including beer tastings from VI Brewing, a bouncy castle, lawn games, a dishwasher giveaway – compliments of Trail Appliances, an ice cream truck, balloon art, face painting, Pacific FC appearances, and $1,000 cash prizes every hour.
With the overwhelmingly positive responses from our community members and the success of the event, we are eagerly looking forward to hold our next event, bringing the community together once again for more celebrations and fun.
